Skills homework packets (individualized by student) are assigned today and due Friday 2/14
The Novel must be completed today 2/10 to stay on track, we talked about this last Friday and many students were going to read with the audio posted in Google classroom over the weekend) Some have already finished...any students who haven’t finished must finish today.
Questions for chapters 21 & 22 are due at the start of class tomorrow 2/11...again some students have turned these in already and others took them over over the weekend. We are really working at your student’s own pace as we wrap up the novel, however some students may have to bring more work home to stay on top of the expectations, particularly if they aren’t 100% focused on their work during class.
The Hero’s journey needs to be applied to the novel, we have done this multiple times with other story-lines and they have their writer’s notebooks to reference if needed. I’m collecting the planning sheet and the final poster. Samples are on the website and hanging in the classrooms.
Finally the One Pager student choice board is the big multiple day project students will be working on this week. One pager projects must be handed in by the end of the school day Friday 2/14 for full credit so students are encouraged to plan and use time wisely. I have exemplars online and hanging in the classroom.
